Lt. Governor Bob Mauk has announced that Governor Ernie Fortuna of the West Virginia District will be making his
official visit to our local Division 10, on Saturday, May 20, 2006. There will be a brief Division meeting of the
Governor and officers of the Division 10 Clubs, at 5pm at the All American Room of the Marshall Hall of Fame Cafi
Restaurant, 857 3rd Avenue, Huntington. Dinner will follow at 6pm, and will be order-what-you-please, individual
tickets. Each Division 10 club has been requested to send as many officers and members as possible. As
an optional, added entertainment activity, attendees are invited to attend a presentation of the West (Virginia)
Side Story, featuring the Huntington ThunderTones and the Kanawha Kordsmen. The show is a light-hearted take-off
of the idea behind the famous musical West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein. Showtime is 8pm, at the Jean Carlo
Stevenson Hall, City Hall Building, 800 Fifth Avenue. |
