The Cabell County Public Library hosts several book clubs at different times so individuals can find a club that fits their schedule.
This club meets the last Wednesday of every month from 12:00 P.M. to 1 P.M. at the Main Library. The group members participate in choosing the books, which usually alternate between fiction and non-fiction and sometimes include notable children’s classic. More>
Marshall University provides the discussion leaders for this group, which meets the third Saturday of every month from 10:00 A.M. to noon. At the Main Library. More>
“Let’s Talk About It: Jewish Literature” is a series of monthly book discussions at the Main Library funded by Nextbook and the American Library Association. Meetings occur Sundays at 2 P.M. at the Main Library. More>
This club welcomes all girls age 10-14 and their moms, aunts, sisters, grandparents, or friends to participate in stimulating book discussions. It’s a good chance to meet other readers and learn from each other. The club meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 P.M. on the 4th floor of the Main Library. More>
