Library History

The Barboursville Public library was established in April 1946 and moved to its current location on October 8, 1967. It is one of the oldest branch libraries in Cabell County. Our library has over 40,000 volumes, which includes videos, DVD’s, CD’s, magazines, and newspapers.

 

Library programs                                   

• Story Time with Miss Ellie every Wednesday morning at 10:00 for pre-school children.
• Adult Mystery Book Club meets every third Wednesday.
