Nobody knows everything about computers.
If you're a wizard on the Web, you may be Windows-challenged. Perhaps you rule when it comes to Word, but get the willies when you have to e-mail somebody something.
So, let this winter be a time of new beginnings as you combat some of your biggest computer concerns.
Cabell County Library offers computer classes for beginners throughout the year with occasional evening classes offered, depending on demand and staff availability. Now underway, Mary Lou Pratt of the reference department teaches two-hour “crash courses” in Windows, Beginning Internet, Advanced Internet, Microsoft Word, and Email.
These classes are aimed at people with no or limited computer experience. They are held in the main library’s fourth floor computer lab on Thursdays from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Here is a schedule of the upcoming classes:
