Friends of the Library

 

The Friends of the Library play a very important role in helping the library serve the public. Volunteers dontate their time and energy in many ways.

 

The Friends hold three booksale events each year and raise funds for the library to fund special programs, to provide materials, equpiment and supplies and to provide items that library funds can not.

Booksales are held the first Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the months of February, June and October on the 4th floor at the main library.

 

The Annual Friends Membership Luncheon is always a special event with a well-known author or personality. For information on joining the Friends, please see our newsletter, a Friends-funded library publication (or click here for a membership form).
