Main Library, Gallaher Teams Win Battle of the Books Titles

 

Teams from the main library and the Gallaher library took home the top honors in the 2009\ edition of our Battle of the Books. The event was a great success, with participation by children and teens from all around the library district.

 

Students in grades 3-8 participated in two grand tournaments structured like a college bowl contest with teams of students answering questions about the books they have read.

We had SO many kids in the 3-4-5 grades that we had to split the tournament up into two different competitions.
