If you have ever created a poem, a story, or comic then you should join us for this workshop. We will discuss the process of editing, narration, tone, inspiration and even the creation of zines.
Individuals will work on their own pieces of writing, receive feedback from others, and develop writing they are proud of, while also learning the basics of creative writing. Rachel Hicks, a Huntington native and Marshall University graduate, will teach the class. Rachel has been an Associate Editor for ABZ Magazine and has won awards for her writing. The class will be held once a week for four weeks.
The first class will be Monday, September 20 at 6:00 p.m. at the Main Library. It is geared for 8th grade students and up.
