The Discussionless Book Club

 

That’s right, finally a book club that doesn’t meet to discuss books! They don’t ever meet…except a couple of times a year when they get together to meet one another at receptions in their honor.

 

What will we be honoring? Members of this exclusive club (henceforth known as the DBC) will participate in providing content for a weekly column in the Herald-Dispatch. You read books anyway, right? So you might as well write reviews and have them published in the newspaper.

 

But this Club is about so much more than bragging rights. As a member you’ll be able to earn gifts. The more your reviews are published the more little gifty things you’ll earn in recognition.

 

What sort of books can you review? Graphic novels? Yes! How about young adult books? Absolutely! Yes, even those awful vampire novels. It’s up to you!
