Kief Schladweiler, coordinator of Cooperating Collections with the Foundation Center of New York City (http://foundationcenter.org) will lead an informative, free workshop entitled "Finding Funds & Writing Grants," from 10 a.m. until noon on Monday, April 8, at the main library.

 

Topics include:

 

-- Introduction to the Foundation Directory Online Professional, available at the main library. Learn how to create customized searches to develop targeted lists of foundations that will match your organization’s needs.

 

-- Learn the key components of a proposal to a foundation with tips on writing strong grants.
