Guyandotte Goes Hollywood!

 

Get ready to touch the stars as “Guyandotte Goes Hollywood.” You’ll spend three fun-filled days (September eighth through the tenth) basking in the brightness of Tinsel Town during the annual SwineFest celebration.

 

The Guyandotte Library (203 Richmond Street) will be participating in the festivities by having a used book sale and by hosting “Dagmar: Guyandotte Gal Goes Hollywood.”

 

The book sale will be held on Friday, September 9, 2011 from 9 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. and again on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

 

Guyandotte’s own television star, Dagmar, will be remembered as SwineFest organizers and friends discuss her life and show clips from her many television appearances during “Dagmar: Guyandotte Gal Goes Hollywood.” This program will take place on Friday, September 9 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
