For the first time the biennial Ohio River Festival of Books will take place at locations across the tri-state area and stretch over an entire week, April 10 – 17.
Considered one of the country’s finest book festivals, ORFOB will once again showcase both up-and-coming talent as well as established literary superstars. Jeannette Walls, author of the award-winning memoir Glass Castle, will introduce her latest best seller, Half Broke Horses.
The list of authors is long, including popular authors Sharyn McCrumb, Craig Johnson, M. Glenn Taylor, Dave Lavender, and new to ORFOB Ann Gabhart, author of popular romances spotlighting the Shaker colony.
As always, there will be panel discussions on a variety of topics and lots of programs for kids. The Ohio River Festival is a group effort by public and academic libraries in West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky.
