Our Endowment Fund

The Cabell County Public Library Endowment Fund has been established to:

  • Ensure patrons have access to current materials by adding to the collections of children's books, business and reference materials both in print and on-line, videos, audio books, etc.
  • Enhance the lives of homebound persons and those who live in assisted living facilities through outreach programs from the main and branch libraries
  • Increase computer classes to make our community more computer literate; and
  • Provide vital educational and cultural programs to the community for all ages.

All donations to the Cabell County Public Library and to the Endowment Fund are fully tax deductible. As this fund grows, the benefit to the library and to the community will also expand. At the present time, the emphasis is on increasing the size of the fund so that the profits from the fund itself may be used to expand and enhance the services of the Library to the community.

The fund has been initiated with donations from Churchill & Mary Hodges, and bequests from the estates of William T. & May Walker Donaldson, Minnie Madsen and Charlotte Dugan.

The following levels of giving have been established for the Endowment Fund:

  • Platnium Level $25,000 and above
  • Gold Level $10,000 to $24,999
  • Silver Level $1,000 to $9,999
  • Bronze Level $100 to $999

We appreciate your assistance in making the Cabell County Public Library the best that a library can be!
